On my rank info, shows xp?

On my own rank info it shows xp etc can anyone tell me how that's calculated? Is it related to how many hacks I've done or what? and what does it mean for me or anyone eg just a bit of info. Wonder what muscles has?

Experience has to do with levels of your nodes and programs. See the table at the end of the site here: http://hackersthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Net_Building

Also, you can check on the wiki how much experience each program/node upgrade gives.
