Core 9 Being built current network Advice

Okay so this is what I have set up for now only thing that has successfully gotten by me is stealth programs. So any advice would be great. I think I got a good handle on how to design but any improvements would be nice. Some times We can not see the flaws in our own designs, so please feel free to give me some advice.

Actually I was thinking that when I get too 9 with my core I would add another scanner and up grade that one and put it where the black ice is.

im 12 lvls lower than you but what I do like as a strategy is having a black ice single attatched to another black ice that is attached to a code gate. so that lower bottom code gate you have attathed to your only black ice I would add another black ice to that black ice. to make room for the node attatchment for your original black ice I would take a the middle turret node off. it benefits you as well because it takes 1 less node away from your black ice. so instead of 3 nodes shooting beams and what not at you its only 2.

but yeah other than that I like.

Good point although I only have one black ice, and can not get another till next core level. I will disconnect one of those turrets though

na no doubt homie do you. lol. I like the set up. but I also loveee seeing people getting stalled at my code gates. its fun to watch. ^.^

I upgrade one of my scanner to level 7 = 200%
I put 3 codegates between netconnection and my defence
I put my core outside so I cannot be krakened
Have a really high sentry

I like to watch them stall at the scanners, although my code gate is level 7 so they hopefully will stall there.

In my opinion, that would be a very bad idea.
Firstly, the current positioning of the black ice seems bad enough because it cannot support 3 turrets at once. When the first turret falls, a shocker or even ice wall can hold the turret up long enough to conquer the remaining turrets and the black ice.
If you add another black ice to the existing black ice, it would die a useless death. An attacker would place a ram, an ice wall and 3 beams. This way, both the code gate and the second black ice would fall in quick succession. The second black ice would have fallen without serving any purpose.

Honestly..delete a sentry and get your second black ice now.

Choke point without a black ice are so easy to beat. Three turrets are ridiculously easy to beat.

As for stealth. You either need to be core 9 and get a third code gate, or get a scanner up to level 9 maybe even 10. Overwise you just can't stop it. Doesn't matter what design you have.

Oh and the black ice into a code gate.

Don't do that. Removes the need for a ram or blaster. Beams will just smash it.
