Help with lvl9 core defense

Got wrecked by a lvl 21 beam cannon guy he got 1 mil loot all black nodes maxed now for library lv 10th and a gaurdian

I'm your same level and I have lvl 18 sentry. Soon I'll start working on the lvl 19 upgrade

Lvl 13 sentry and after I get both library to lvl 10 I'll get core lvl 9 and also I'm barely managing to get core 9 guys cause of only 2 program libraries I'm sure that I have very good lvl in them

Gocto 0 rep of you're not there yet. Res is easy to get. Just spam lvl 1 access on all nets you meet then disconnect.

drop beams on players 3-4 under you do dump rep. Keep an eye out for MinMaxers they can easily take down your base. Just look at the base. See how good the chokes are and the Sentry they have. They tend to have many gates as well.

hmmm needs improvement.
1. a lv 6 scanner as a choke point makes it a joke to get past sell it and buy a lv 1 scanner
2. at core lv 9 you unlock a 3rd scanner buy it and replace your lv 1 turret with it because the turret has 4 program slots and the scanner has 3
3. there is an effective choke you can make at core lv 9 ( get a scanner after your first choke point then connect your program library, core and code gate which has the resources connected to it .
it will make it a nightmare for hackers to get past due to the core's high firewall making it the first target for the programs not the code gate they need to take down to progress
4. to improve point 3 get both guardians and connect it to your core to further slow down the enemies progression
5. the reason why you do not put a defensive node on the choke (turret, black-ice, sentry) is that because they are hostile even with antivirus they will be targeted first and kind-of defeats the purpose of the placement

3rd scanner is unlocked at core 10 alongside 3rd DB and mixer
