Anyone consider making a "clan" type way of forming groups between players?

This is an amazing game that I truly enjoy. The only thing I feel is lacking is a sense of playing with/against other players. I beleive that a way to form "teams" or some way of communication between players in game would be welcomed by the Hackers community. I'm not trying to imply that there is a fault in this game. I'm just simply trying to add a social aspect to the game so you can not only interact with people but also have something to do while you wait for programs to load between attacks. Either way, great game! :)

Coordinated attacks and defending big systems sounds fun.

Just because CoC does something doesn't mean this game can't. CoC is popular for a reason.

I'd like for the Ice Wall and Protector programs to show how much more they can absorb, in a similar way that offensive programs show their cooldown/attack speed. I'd also like to see the replayers have a little more control over playback. Being able to 2x/4x fast forward and step back a few seconds would be great!

When you install one of those, an indicator of this spawns around the base of that particular node. Not sure how to call the visual part exactly , I would say it's a 'rotating tail' (oh god, please, someone, find a better description for that, from the top of my head I just dont know how to describe it now). For IceWall it's white with a hint of blue/cyan, for Protector white with a hint of purple/magenta. Anyway the main point is, that you can see how depleted these are by looking at the 'tail' at the bottom of the node - the longer it is, the less depleted the program is. (plus Protector regenerates so it can lenghten over time if it is not at it's max health, IceWall can not)

A-ya, so it does! I'm usually quite focussed on watching for the icon to dissapear/shield to break on the right hand side. This is good stuff! I'll add it to the Wiki!

I would like to see my own base win/lost ratio.

When you search you can see the defence ratio for other bases, so it should be just a case of adding it somewhere.

The security log would be a good place for it. It records and stores the last few attacks against you, but the overall total would let you see how your base is holding up.

On Wiki Luminaar wrote something like 'a revolving light', I am very fine with that :)

This way (when it's shown directly on the node), you can see it's status no matter what node you have selected, which is needed especially with larger networks if you happen to fight on multiple spots at once.
Also, it might be good to know, that Ice Walls are used prior to any Protectors on that node. Very useful if you want to maximize your effectiveness with these two combined.
