SaveDjVu.com is a real website, and gives some new qr-like codes. It acts like the core does, giving certain codes when you refresh. I've translated one of the codes, and guess what?

It turns into more binary  . Specifically, it turns into the binary for "e". Over at discord, we're trying the translate the rest.

Could you also tell me how are you solving the qr codes on site i would really appreciate it. :)

Looks like there is a hidden form on http://savedjvu.com/ !!

You can access it by editing the html from the developer tools in chrome. Here's a capture of the exposed form with dev tools open.

Submitting the form with some random text takes you to a page that says "You're obviously not who I thought you were, go away!"

Looks like we've got some work to do!

I find this kind of thing irresistable, but alas, I'm apparently not great at it. I think I got to level 20-something of notpron before getting stuck years ago... I really should get back into that; it was good fun.

At this point, I'm playing catchup here, just for fun. Thrilled that they've put something (and I hope more) like this into Hackers. But I'm at a loss -- where did the path to heartme.net come from? I'm not seeing it from the sig or the codes. Where did I miss the reference? Besides that, I haven't gotten past it yet, anyway. Have the password, but the field is limited to 9 chars, so I'm... uh... Well, hm. Stuck for the moment.

Shadowed I can give you a hint for heartme.net if you want. Also, the reference came from the early level in hackers named heartme.net.

Hint to solve? Nah, I haven't given up yet.

Oh, FFS. I can't believe I forgot the mission early on. Thanks for the memory reboot. :)

stuck at savedjvu for several days, started showing symptoms, agitation, diaphoresis, tremor, sudden outbursts when a hypothesis is proven to be useless ( again ), need cure, need clue (aghhhh)

found something
after the hidden pw section savedjvu.com
I entered H34r7Br0k3n
and submitted, it gave me a seemingly blank page, but on inspection it was writing
color="white" Et tu, brute...

so when color is changed to black it can be seen on page too
back to the point Et tu, brute... is said by Julius caesar, to marcus brutus.
1) there is a cipher called "caesar cipher" which might be the answer to solve this puzzle
2) this saying is used for unexpected betrayals =>friend or foe

ps: when tried again it gave "I had to :(" page
so have no idea how it happenes
ps2: I tried to load pictures, but it says they are too big

PS: thanks to Starblast (from discord), when you press f5 on the page it says "I had to" it changes to "et tu, brute..." page
PS: same reaction happens even if you do it "you are not the one , go away" one, this means when you press f5 in savedjvu.com/friendorfoe.php you get "et tu,brute..." message

White to Black, and a Caesar cipher .... how do those binary codes look when all the 1's are 0's and vice versa, or what about inverting the codes put into the scanner (keeping the corners as they are .... maybe?)

Any way of picking the other side here? Caesar maybe? Or, instead of being the heartbroken one, what was the name of the other person in the relationship?
There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that can read binary, and those that cant.

I guess I can't really be a good help on this :? Never really took time to become good at codes and cryptology. But I have always loved these kind of things, and I'm excited to see the results
