Translate this into text, and you get:
5

I'm speculating that there's seven different codes the core shows. Each time you copy one code to the scanner, you get a binary code that then reveals one number. This then creates a seven number "password." I'm assuming this "password" could be used in the redeem bonus, or maybe in the readme messages to do something.

Looking forward to solving this puzzle. :geek:
what about this? 11100000111O10000000001O10000000001O00010001000O00000100000O00000010000O00001000000O00010000000O10000000001O10000000001O11100000111

I'm not going to post the code I did because I want someone else to try the same code, and see if they get the same result. For all we know, the devs made the final seven numbers different on every account to prevent people from just googling the correct answer in the future.
Here I was thinking ASCII or something more complicated... Whoops! I can understand having someone repeat the code to see if it's the same but regardless it'll need to be posted eventually.

I tried the diagram from the scanner... I will be the Captain Obvious now, but the diagram really seems to be a kind of game of life with different rules.

All the cells at the border of the square are turned black/white alone, without interfering with neighbors.

But the center ones will create a crux pattern wherever i touch. And the rule is that it inverts the black/white of adjacent squares in a crux formation too.

Ah, I also noticed that the pattern changes every 5 seconds. Should the easter egg be to use one of the Core images as seed, and draw in the Scanner pattern what will be shown in the Core in the exact amount of time after?

It also seems to be a repetitive patterns, that is the reason for some people have the impression to see the same pattern...

I feel it would best to tackle this as a group. Putting on my manager hat for a second lets run though what we got.

What we know:
- QR's appear in the core
- We can duplicate these QR's in the scanner
- Some QR's give out Binary Codes
- Binary code when translated give out a number from a 7 digit password.

Issue:
- Too many QR's to duplicate for one person

Solution:
- 6 or more people volunteer.
- 1 person screen shots 60 different QR's
- Each volunteer takes 10 QR's
- Any Binary Codes found get posted here for other people to check and see the password digit.
- Keep repeating.
- In would be good to keep an index of QR codes, but maybe this is to difficult

Assuming that the code does something, when put into a read me file (only place currently you can key a code), i.e [*******] we can brute force when we have 4 of 7 codes i.e [0*0**1*] [0*0**2*] [0*0**3*]. Each volunteer can brute force 166 password codes. assuming that the password is all numbers. otherwise we need to find probably 6 of the 7

For the record, I don't want to volunteer. I don't enjoy repetitive stuff. It's just to painful.

Sorry to put a downer on this, but I had a code returned that included zero numbers :(

Oh well.

I love puzzles, but anything with a randomness to it. i.e trying 20 plus QR's just to get 1 code and I just can't be bothered. No patience for randomness. If this password leads onto another puzzle let me know and I'll try to help.

If not, hope you get a cool background skin or something worth the effort.

Ok, so far I have 16 unique images from the core. The majority of these are duplicated by being rotated 90 degrees each time.

So my question is, how many unique images have you all found? As finding all the unique images is the most obvious starting point.

Quick summary:
1) click on core repeatedly to unlock codes that change every couple seconds.
2 ) hold scanner for over 7 seconds to unlock a grid
3) we believe by transferring the codes from the core to the scanner, that something will be unlocked. So far, a binary code appears. When this binary is translated to text, a part of a "password" appears.

As far as I know, no one has solved the puzzle yet.
