Is it just me or is the upgrading requirement curves for the Compiler flat-out absurd?

For such an incredibly important node, the fact that literally the second upgrade costs 50,000B, locking it out for like, what, 2-3 Core levels in a row, feels absurd.

I find the price alright.
Its is really strong building and at the current prices it corresponds with program space. The higher lvl you are the more space for programs you have so to be fully armed you need more compile time, at levels, when it takes too much you should be able to afford new compiler. Still 10-18 minutes of compiling for me even with 90 slots space.
Compared to 40 slots with one compiler, same.
I dont see problem or cost being too high, it just fits perfectly for me at least, sorry man

Like, I have 2 slots, but against a decently well-defended network, the development time still takes like between 45-60+ minutes usually for a set for me.

Bearing in mind that there are 12 Core levels and only 4 Compiler levels, it needs to be spaced out a bit. Since Compiler 2 is available at Core 4 and Compiler 3 is available at Core 8, that seems to space out perfectly.Lily wrote:The fact that literally the second upgrade costs 50,000B, locking it out for like, what, 2-3 Core levels in a row, feels absurd.
What it *could* benefit from however, is actually saying "Needs Core level 8" instead of it saying it costs 50k B-coins when you're at Core 4.
There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that can read binary, and those that cant.
