$4.99 for 500 credits is a bit much. It doesn't last long. After going through with this microtransaction I don't feel I've been adequately rewarded.
My suggestion:
$1.99 for 500
$4.99 for 1800
$9.99 for 2800
$19.99 for 6500
And so on

Re: Credits
4.99 for 500 credits sounds reasonable to me. I mean what would you need credits for other than increasing your building amount other than that I dnt see the use of credits. most people wont be in a high enough rep class anyways to be able to buy certain skins anyways lol.

Re: Credits
Change in prices is no way I think, it would be weird.
At least it would piss off guys like me, who payed quite a big chunk of money. Well in case we would not get compensation.
But on the other hand, we agreed to buy it costing "that much".
But put differences in who already payed and how much aside.
I think that lowering credits price would only hurt the game. It wouldnt be so f2p anymore. Now if you really want to have advantage from buying credits, you have to spend A LOT of money. Buying the biggest credits pack doesnt rly do much if I consider improvement in def/attack strenght. Only if you buy like 3 of these pack, then yes you get from lvl 15 to lvl 28 easily.

Re: Credits
I agree that is too cheap. Not only would it piss off spenders who have already spent, but it would eventually cause some very unwanted changes to the game.
Right now, devs are generous with free credits, there is not that many unbalancing perks to buy (as in none) and the prices of various things (except perhaps advanced skins) is reasonable.
Actually, the only 3 things you should ever buy are:
1) Building threads
2) Program compile times
3) Perhaps a shield at certain sweet spots when your banks are very high and you have high level server farms and mines.
$20 bucks will get you 4 building threads (I think, I don't remember what they all cost anymore) and 4 threads is actually pretty good. You will reach a point where you might have trouble getting enough resources to keep them all working.
Resources are much cheaper if you use compile time speeds to hack more often, and you will pretty much need to do this to advance past core 7-8 unless you are a total game babysitter.
Remember there is always a "cost" to cheaper game currency, and nobody will like what it is.
