Build threads 4 vs 5

I bought my 4 threads early in the game 2 threads and 3 threads made big changes in time but the 4 threads didn't do much so I have been hesitant in buying a 5th.. Is there much difference or not really? I would rather spend that money in resources than a 5th build thread if it doesn't do much in time difference.

All threads are equal. While it may seem that the 4th thread doesn't make much of a difference, it does the exact same work as your first one.

1 thread will do 100% of the work in 100% of the time.
2 threads will do the same in half the time, 3 threads in 1/3 the time, 4 in 1/4 the time and finally 5 in 1/5 the time.

While it may seem like it is less, another way to think of it is with 5 threads you can complete 5 upgrades simultaneously (1 thread each) or back to back (all threads on 1) and both will take the exact same amount of time.

So yes it is worth it if speed matters to you.

Basically you'll get a 25% boost in building speed.
On the long run that's a lot
But your choice.
I'm happy having 5 threads and I never purchased res or sped up anything

Judging by your level, core and rep then I can see why since you are mlre or less min maxing, brute force only, and farming in the shallow pools of skills where farming gets you 3 to 4 times the resources compared to farming in tje 1100+ rep

A 6 day upgrade on 4 will take 1 day 8 hrs on 5 it will take 1 day 2hrs witch is cuting 6hrs off a 6 day upgrade not worth it on lower levels but once ur nods start going it to the dubble figers then would recommend it

I'm no MinMaxer. You wanted our opinion so I gave you mine.
Personally the 5th thread really made a big difference.
Now I can keep upgrading 3 nodes at a time and be able to adjust upgrade times to make it so they always finish at daytime when I can reassign them to other nodes immediately .
I hate having idle threads.
Keep in mind: the sooner you get them the bigger the difference they make.
Late game you'll have upgrades that'll take 2-3 days even WITH 5 threads.
That's 10-15 days with 1 thread and 3-4 days with 4 threads.
My point: If you can, get them.
Also I'm staying low to allow continuous upgrading with full storage.

And here I am crawling with only 3 threads.
On the bright side, it allows my program lvls to catch up and less pressure trying to keep all available threads active.

You want 5 threads. When you get to the point where upgrading anything takes 4 or more days, you'll regret not saving up credits for that last building thread.

Eh I will do what I did with thread 3 and 4.. Buy it but if the end result is just a few hours then I won't even bother
