Squid AI!

The Squid node provides a massive boost to stealth detection, while the Squid program takes zero disk space and can disable multiple nodes during a stealth attack!

Hawk AI!

The Hawk subroutine can attack nodes over long range. Use it to provide additional firepower while attacking a network, or to out-range a Shocker when defending nodes are disabled ...

Network Upgrades!

We're increasing the node limit for Core Levels 7-12, allowing players to create larger networks. We're also raising the maximum number of specific nodes - check out the above animation for some of the possibilities!

Players will also be able to delete nodes without inflating their network level - experiment with the new node combinations!

Beetle AI!

The Beetle program can be used to autonomously repair damaged nodes, while you concentrate your efforts on hacking a different part of a network.

At higher levels, it can also reduce the need for defensive programs, letting you load up on firepower to break other heavily protected nodes!
