I haven't worked it out mathematically but it feels the amount of downtime a farm or mine has isn't worth the upgrade later on unless you're going to be playing for a year.

You're right, this has happened twice to me too. Didn't seem to be a pattern. Says you got the money in the log but it's not added to your bank. That twice is probably 1/200 hacks.

Wow, that's some high level programs. That technique with the low level stuff and high sentries is a bit lame, it should force you to upgrade them at certain core levels.

I think the point was that at Core Level 6 you could in no way be ABLE to do that upgrade, thus a bug.

But I'm saying it's not a bug, it's a teaser of what you COULD have
