Re: Priority order

Hey guys, I wondered about the order hacks hack nodes. Is there a particular order? Like the health points is their priority? An attacking node? Thanks! Do you mean, if I install e.g. Beamer - in what order will it attacks connected nodes? If I understand mechanics correctly, than attack priority i...

No problem :)

Hacking Pnub with Kraken:

Hack is performed in poor way, so you can see, that Kraken's tentacles can be easily cut off, but they grow again quite quickly.

Re: Network Build screenshots

After reading wiki on Karen I can see how it's op. Especially when core is in very back with many connections. Question. Once it reaches core does it continue attacking other nodes? Or just whatever in its way to core? Prochlub's answer is accurate, actually better than info on wiki :) Here is a vi...

Re: Videos of successful hacks

Another video, this time with Shocker program in action. When you need to deal with multiple defensive nodes at once, Shocker can be more effective than Ice-wall as shocked defense node do not shoot at your node at all. You can also see usage of Batering Ram program to speed-up hacking of CodeGate. ...

Re: Common mistakes

If you want Sentry to spread as fast as possible, you put it next to other active defenses, like Turret or Black Ice nodes. Sentry does not need to load into these, it immediately sends the installation packet to them, and they're ready to spread the Sentry program further. Really? I didn't...

Re: Common mistakes

Another comon mistake with Sentry placement: Sentry too early http://s19.postimg.org/fkl0y8kz3/Sentry_placement.jpg At this position, i.e. too close to netConnection, Sentry is pretty much useless. Attacker can easily hack it down with few Beamers before the Sentry even start to spread the antivirus.
