Re: Attack priorities [GAME MECHANICS]

What's the attack priority of the core in this list? I would this it's a white passive node, but it doesn't seem to behave that way. I just played a game where the code gate was linked to a core and sensor. The sensor had full AV the core none when I took the code gate my attacks went after the cor...

Re: Network Build screenshots

Hi! Could you give me any tips about my network ? :) http://forum.tricksterarts.com/download/file.php?id=172 http://i.imgur.com/9mzSq5p.png Where is your scanner? You should probably delete that 3rd sentry for it. (Click on the sentry and press the "X") Otherwise, choke looks great, branching looks...

Re: Core 7 - which network would you prefer?

Hello Guys, wich defense would you prefer? Probably number 2. http://i.imgur.com/d2xfRkc.png But like what yopee said I kinda don't like both because your Black ICEs are poorly positioned. I don't quite like that black ice behind the two turrets. That's because once the turret is taken, it will be ...

Re: Choke points [GUIDE]

General rule of thumb for me is, if its a really weak choke point, like a lvl1 scanner, i prefer to use turrets because they are really fast and the attacker will have less time to react. If its a higher firewall choke point like a guardian/high level scanner, i would use black ice to break through ...

Re: Network Build screenshots

Well thank you so much Fluffington Sir.. The only thing that now remains a question for me is whether i keep my core right next to my compiler or put it far behind like this one : https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/PCYwTksotu1t6AN1pI4DPlmDpMrERI-fuOAgi5LRQRgpPaelt0-ctxfsZggQ3oCWbXpI8666aR57mh6611c58...

Attack priorities [GAME MECHANICS]

Introduction The game is still quite new and players are still trying to discover how the game works exactly. Well Love.Wolf and Wakaka took it a step further and actually did some experiments on attack priorities. The wiki (http://hackersthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Attack_Strategies) explains the attac...

Re: Network Build screenshots

Don't take my word for this, but i think "inactive sentry" is when the nodes around it have AV installed. This means that the sentry is not spreading anymore because it has done it's job and is considered "inactive". You're gonna have to dig deeper into this though. Again. I'm not 100% on this... b...
