What is the point in defenses when most of your attackers end up going at your base with 60 or more lvl10+ beam cannons? I find it hard to believe there is anything that can defend from that, especially if the attacker decides to use ice walls. Welcome to hackers the most balanced game in the world...

When I see a huge target I get excited and hit the huge target icon and sit there for 2 seconds waiting for it to load and think... oh wait... I just skipped to next targets

Well all I can tell you is I'm VERY used to shields in particular (and just bout everything cept portal now), and something has changed which affected shields (maybe not their stats directly, but something has changed their behavior).
