Re: No confirmation on credit spending

The instant compile button is located at the same position as the program compile menu button so I have accidentally double-tapped that quite a few times.

I agree there should be some warning or confirmation message for credit payments.

Re: Defending against Krakens with core inside network?

What 3ly said. Also, beams do more damage, compile faster, take less disk space, and are cheaper. High level players often farm using only beams. What about shurikens? They seems fairly useful. I'm assuming the cost to upgrade them just means it's better off to spend it on beams? Depends on what yo...

Re: feature removed?

Any chance you can leave this as an option in settings so we can pick whether we want to overwrite or not?

Re: Lvl 7 setup

You probably already notice this but your network layout forces you to pump money into 2 sentries, scanners, and code gates which is really expensive and tanks your level really high so be careful of that. You're better off forcing attackers to go through both code gates and then splitting the path ...

Strange increase in shuriken/ice wall upgrade cost

So shuriken and ice wall costs 32k bcoins for level 7 and 60k for level 8.
Afaik, only these two programs have this doubled cost at this rank, completely skipping the 48k price point.

Is there any particular reason for that?

Re: Security Node Investment Priorties

I'm getting ready to defend against the lvl15+ beamers out there so I'm curious about some specific power spikes. At what level code gate do beams generally take too long to break through? Also, is stealth still used (aside from wraithing the first two gates) and what level scanner would generally s...

Re: Defending against Krakens with core inside network?

Is it necessary to upgrade the 2nd Mixer? Or is just 1 enough to hold the b-coins for program upgrades? After all it's a pretty good choke point with 3 program slots and 4 connection ports. You only really need more than one mixer once you start researching high level programs (like 100k+ bcoins). ...

Re: Defending against Krakens with core inside network?

Don't downgrade your database. You need it to upgrade core. If you upgrade that lvl 1 scanner then it won't be as good of a chokepoint anymore. Plus you will tank your level higher than necessary. It's fine if the first code gate in the front area is sacrificed to a wraith. That's what happens at lo...

Re: Defending against Krakens with core inside network?

Wait so are you saying the scanner will be behind or in front of the first code gate?

If in front, then I think it could work.
If behind, you will be sacrificing the code gate.
