I am almost 100% sure that you are suppose to match those 11x11 grids with the scanner Easter egg, the end result should be something!

Hey Otter,
Unless you find something new yes matching them up gave out various code which turned out to complete number 1.

That said nice thread folks.
Maybe I missed it but did anyone notice or work out why the color value on savedjvu.com website is the following?
427920616e79206368616e63652c2064696420796f7520686561722066726f6d204d61727479206c6174656c793f
It's css code for the image being centered.
Did I just miss the use of this piece of code?

It's no surprise we're not making any headway. 90% of the responses are things that have already been solved :P

Otter, read the post before yours mate. The Core QR's are solved, they all say SaveDjvu. This leads to a major and minor clue. One is Savedjvu.com - there's a ton of new info there. The second it when you put that code into heartme.net. No doubt any future things will be worth trying on all the previous websites. The timer on heartme.net is ticking ....

Well spotted that it's out of place - did you try running it through a Hex to Text editor? :)

Running both websites through who.is returned obviously fake addresses and phone numbers, one being Ned Flanders and a Simpsons address, the other being the phone number from Channel 4's The IT Crowd (Well played on that one btw LadTY - hiliarious!) Somebody also noticed they were based in the same location area code although I don't remember where.

New binary codes that return 2-digit answers (that don't combine to be an anagram). Caesar references (possibly a Caeser cipher), a friendorfoe.php sheet (with the option on the forums to friend or foe other members) and a mysterious member called "marty" who hasn't been seen online since (SPOILER: >>> the date the story mission supposedly put him in prison.)

There's some much deeper digging to be done!
There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that can read binary, and those that cant.

I did try a few things. Still more to do. Also note the color attribute is the same every time.
And well going back yes I did find it. I figured it was hex code. But bad website gave me nothing.
Good website did and I think this was caught and converted.
Converted it says:
By any chance, did you hear from Marty lately?

Which was found in the thread if memory serves. Sorry bout that.

And maybe it means something to but not sure if folks took notice of the position box values.
525.188 top
792 left
572 right
305.188 bottom

Maybe means nothing but that .188 seems oddly specific and well useless to boot on an image position.
There's also some css code that says transform. Not code I'm up to par with will have to see what it actually does.
Posting the css for the record.
Well seems transform is used to move things around 2d and 3d or such.
Awful lot of image centering data for something simple enough to just... well could be simpler.
Turning things on and off etc was able to get another value from the positioning again another with a decimal.
830.375 bottom

Code: Select all

.center img {
    margin: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 50%;
    left: 50%;
    -ms-transform: translate(-50%, -50%);
    transform: translate(-50%, -50%);
    color: 427920616e79206368616e63652c2064696420796f7520686561722066726f6d204d61727479206c6174656c793f;
}

I didn't catch anything glaring though.
I mean i noted some other things to that didn't seem to be reported.
Also heartme.net missed that one will have to scour it to.
Sadly all I have seen on savedjvu probably has no use but one can think maybe it does because they did some odd things on that site and would seem they tie in some way.

Like the fact that the img src is not just a standard url img.
Oddly it's base64 encoded.
Each is different per the image.
And they oddly have / to divy up the base64 bits of code. I ran a few of each line and it seems it's just normal base64 data that comes back if you open say an image file or executable in say notepad or textpad etc.
The beginning section starts off telling you it's a gif87a. I did rip out all the / and saved the file changed it to a .gif but it didn't open. think i just did something wrong.
Also the end of the img src tag is odd to but may mean nothing. Note the non standard html tag cg="=". with each different QR code that value does change the cg above is for the fully listed image below. But I refreshed and now new base64 image code but the alternate tag says... aq="=" and the first time i checked the image when i spotted all this that tag was dg="="
Note sure how many are there to gather that odd tag from but could spell soemthing out if you drop the g's.

Code: Select all

<img src="data:image/gif;base64,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 No need to apologise mate, sorry if I sounded sour. I get so excited when I see new posts to this thread, and get proper bummed out when it's just someone talking about holding the scanner down :P I also like to give folks the opportunity to get the excitement of solving the puzzles themselves - I hope I didn't come accross as flippant :)

Looks like a nice catch. I have no idea what any of that means, or what it is you're adjusting, but I notice that the 522.1875 (rounded to .188) and 305.1875 come awfully close to that new value of 830.375. What is it you adjusted?

Midnght wrote:There's also some css code that says transform. Not code I'm up to par with will have to see what it actually does.

Well seems transform is used to move things around 2d and 3d or such.
It's also used for moving and rotating. Maybe it's something to do with the images producing the same result even when rotated/flipped?

Yeah, I tried to disect the code from Base64 too - a rather massive task, given the solution below ....

So, the QR codes give out a 64-bit code as before, and each code translates into the 2 letters that you noted at the bottom (qA, bg, RQ etc) - all that code for such little result :P The surplus "=" sign was noticed, but again, no one has any idea what to do with it :(

Someone did try running them through a different decoder, and came back with I believe Chinese symbols for "6", "eyelashes" and other things, and tried to link them to on of the China Missions that you had to Stealth hack - but nothing became of it.

A part of me thinks that things are going a little *too* deep, and that the solution is something a touch more obvious - that's just been missed and overlooked. :) It helps to have fresh eyes on things for sure!

Guys, why don't you just join discord group, we have a #decoded section, which covers all that we tried, all of the findings, and all things that you are talking, which already found out 3weeks-1month from now already

Nope nope no offence or anything taken Luminaar. }:>D
I agree might be too deep to I been trying to think of things in a simpler term.

As for joining discord again maybe missed it in this post but i saw no data on where to go to join etc.

Like the name of the sight itself and a break down on it.
So far I came up with Save DjVu which is a pdf style of program which stalled somewhat and then has been picked back up.
Since the capitalization is an exact match maybe something there. DjVu.org has other links outwards.

Then may saved jv u or some such along with the et tu brute comment saved Julius the fifth or something?

Also did a whiois look up on both websites.
Very interesting registrant info. Example Martys last name is Mori along with a gmail address and such.
Savedjvu is owned by Deja Vu again more info there. Phone numbers locations addresses etc.
Anything could play a part. Maybe emailing would net an automated response or the phone numbers to something like the same voicemail.
Haven't tried any of it.

http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?act ... =toolpage#

http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?act ... =toolpage#

The values I found probably mean nothing but like I said it's odd they control the image location with sooo much strangeness when it could be centered much easier.
If you use chrome and inspect the element lower right is a position box in the style tab if a lot of css is on the page you have to scroll to see it. Tells you position, margin, border, padding sizes applied to what you've clicked on.

Anyway if I can get to discord happy to see what is all there to.

The discord invite is https://discordapp.com/invite/UW8vm.

Yup, LadTY certainly has the right crowd for their references - Mori, Marty is great :D I believe someone did try the email addresses - it's some good information though. I wonder what else can be done with them?

I did try to put the main points of discord on here, for folks who aren't part of that chat to see. I find it hard enough to decipher that chat though, nevermind deciphering the puzzle :P

A few comments from ladty. Leads me to believe that the core codes still hold another password.

But people have mainly stopped doing them. Lumi you liked doing them. That's now your job.

I found it interesting that at one point you thought the password would be savefile.

And yet it turned out to be savedjvu.

Perhaps file could be part of a second clue. Like loadfile or something.

Again, i have no interest in the scanner mini game. I did make a panda picture though on it. :D

I don't know if "like" is the right word :p I got pretty obsessed doing them, because I thought I could solve them. Of course, folks then complained I was always online ;) ) TryJoKing was the one who deciphered them all, but I'm not sure if it was by actually solving them - I think it was by similar elimination. There is one more code that hasn't had a use yet, which was the Heartme results (and LadTY's signature.) It results in a null code of all zero's. (Maybe it was used to help decipher the others?)
