Story arc:
  • Observatory reports 3 objects of unknown origin are maneuvering into the same orbits as GPS satellites. Action expected from US military
  • Attack on GPS system knocked 14 satellites out of orbit. 6 objects were intercepted, but "We were not prepared for an attack of this scale"
  • Hole in GPS network causes worldwide failures in telecommunication, air traffic control, power grids, banking and blockchain synchronization
  • Leakz.org reveals Switzerland's FIS had missiles hidden in an ocean-surveying satellite, which was hacked and used to attack the GPS network

Random:
  • International outrage after for-profit space shuttle detected and blocked spyware intrusions upon docking with the ISS
  • Y2K bug discovered in Spitzer Space Telescope. "All previously 'discovered' Earth-sized planets probably don't exist after all"
  • Drought causes low server farm yields for third year in a row
  • 'Shocker or Protector' - a detailed analysis at 11:00
  • FBI conclusively determined the Guerrilla Knitters of Rosa County were not, in fact, plotting a cyber attack on street lights
  • There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary and those who don't (shamelessly stolen from our favorite moderator)
  • There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
  • "I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code." - Hacktivist
  • Don't get angry at your phone when it dies, find a different outlet
  • In order to understand recursion you must first understand recursion

"New study shows 80% of all noobs slip on Black Ice."
"Maniac program taken into rehabilitation for excessive overkill. Claims user responsible."

"Cyber Sec Org announced LadTy to be the world's most wanted hacker."
"Ergo users question their safety after a panda was found responsible for the recent update leaks..."

 just ideas given the recent events. Change 'em up a bit if you want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
