Yes. With all respect that idea is awful. Your other scanner is a choke and can't stop stealth. The main issue now is you have a black ice going into your code gate. Which means people can take the gate with just beam.

Sacrifice a mine or something and place it before the gate.

if you want to protect your core, fine that's your choice. I think it's wrong at your level. But as you get higher it's ok. Your guardians still don't really do anything. Swapping the back guardian with your Core would be better. And use the other a resource choke.

Plus if you don't have a full malstorm. Think about getting another sentry.

Yeah thought the scanner wasnt good there.. so what you are suggesting is the scanner goes back to the second scanner?

Also I put the furthest gurdian as another choke point?

What no. I was saying the other guys idea was bad. The way the scanner is after my suggestion is good. It's what most people do in the game.

Yes, if you swap the Core and Guardian you get another choke point at the back. When your sentry is high enough. Guardian choke with resources are really annoying.

i would double shield that last code gate.
ie: link it to 2 guardians

i think this works cauz i faced it once where a cg had 2 shields and it caused me lots of delay in my attack

Move your code gates to the front with your scanner to prevent stealth.

That current scanner seems like it should be sensitive enough to prevent true stealth (no retrace) from installing data leeches right into the back of your network. So I would assume you mean you are getting lots of hybrid attacks such as Wraith or Portal. Looking at this network, it has one major weakness against hybrid attacks: It has only one sentry.

This means that the moment an attacker manages to wraith your sentry, the brute force following it would be significantly easier since anti-virus fails to spread, leaving the turrets without antivirus pulses and your inner regions completely white.

Personally I find that the best way to improve my own network is to:

1. Watch the replays of a hack and see which sections fell too quickly; which key nodes need more defending.
2. Approach your own network from an attacker's perspective.
