Don't use a gate at the back until you have 4 which is until your at core 10 I believe. On low levels it best helps having 2 at the front since most new players won't have a ram or blaster high enough. Also its better to protect resources with a security node. I would move your gate towards the front where it is more useful in stealth. And have 3 security nodes attacking that scanner. As said above. 3 sentries are not needed for a network of your level. Have one connected in such a way to spread with the security nodes active. Having thus guide is helpful. But for chokepoints to be effiecient. You need to have high level sentry. Make sure to max it at the current core level that it allows you to. Having a low level can be a huge disadvantages to these network structures

Also could there be a buff to black ice. Like a .5 reduction time and a 10 percent buff towards strength. It will attack slightly faster but maintain its strength before the patch. They may have not agreed with this suggestion. Reducing effectiveness of certain programs based on combination would make thinngs too difficult. I'm curious to know why the stealth buff on all visibility was necessary. I have seen level 21 programs go very far inside a network. And AI Squid is obsolete when it can be easily avoided
